u'll be able to go back in the summer for the 2 month holidays, then back again midyear next year for your placement and possibly stay longer and then ur done. you'll be fine.

Maybe instead of asking yourself "why" you should ask yourself "how" to get over your homesick-ness. Asking "why" isn't gonna help you. Take your stint here in Adelaide as a way to grow into an independent person.
